Being 29 years old and living in Manhattan I walk a lot during the nicer parts of the season. I noticed a not so pretty fungus on my right big toe. I have been using the vinegar method to soak my foot in. How often do I need to change the vinegar when soaking my foot?
Fungus live everywhere, even in Manhattan. A fungus can infect the toenail causing it to physically change by becoming thicker, streaked, discolored and/or crumbly. Vinegar is considered a home remedy for the treatment of nail fungus. Advanced cases of fungus infections may not demonstrate any changes. The vinegar should be mixed 50% with water and soaked for up to 30 minutes per session.
