I am a 33 year old woman living in Manhattan County in the State of New York and have problems with bunions that I have had surgically treated.

The bunions always form on the same foot.  Why always in the same place?

A bunion is the resulted of deviated bones at the big toe joint resulting in the bones pushing out from beneath the skin.  Some people develop bunions from too much flexibility in the foot, a condition called hypermobility.  They form in the same place because bunions involve the big toe joint, also known as the 1st metatarsophalangeal joint.
